A typical post picks up 613 interactions against 4.0M followers, an engagement rate of 0.015%. Measured over 35 original posts, its engagement rate beats 40% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 69K times each, and 0.894% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.73% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 8.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on almost every day in the window. Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 35 posts sampled, 51% carry an image or video and 31% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 80K interactions, about 130x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #sharpedge, #ndtvworldsummit, #vs.

Compared with accounts its own size

vir sanghvi's engagement rate beats 40% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 44% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.015%, vir sanghvi sits above the 10th percentile of the 212,078 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.025%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 212,078 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,460 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 31% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 364 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

The detention of Supreme Court advocates from their chambers is deeply disturbing. We are mentioning this urgently before the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India. Arbitrary detention and intimidation of advocates will not be tolerated. I demand immediate release of the lawyers .

I have heard @narendramodi calling @RahulGandhi a "hybrid" calf after mocking Sonia Gandhi as an imported Jersey Cow. Also, when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he routinely scoffed Muslims with a Tum Paanch, Tumhare Pacchis jibe. In the past, have also heard him say,his exact words: "me 20 loko no puchyu koi Soniyaben ne clerk ni nokri no aape ane Rahul patawala ni. Aaawa loko ne aapne appdo desh apaay? (asked 20 people. Nobody wanted to make Soniaben even a clerk and Rahul a peon; can we entrust our country to such (unqualified) people?). Those currently demonising "Cockroaches" or Congress or others; where were you during the "Election Commissioner James Lyngdoh meets Sonia Gandhi in Church or when @ShashiTharoor's 50 crore girl friend and other derogatory remarks were made? Or recently when @girirajsinghbjp put up images of a young woman and her son with Rahul Gandhi? For some people, whatever #BJP does is nationalism and when others do it, it is character assassination! @Cockroachbackk @CJP_for_India @Cockroachisback @INCIndia @Yadavakhilesh

Baba Ramdev on Independence day - Chaos is spreading across the country. - Children are complaining that there are no teachers in their schools. - Basic facilities like electricity, water and toilets are missing. - Cheating is rampant in some places, while question papers are being leaked in others. - In government job interviews, corruption runs as high as 99%. - Mend your ways, or the protests will only grow stronger.

So it’s official now. Booth level officers have a new, special category on their apps : EC approved VIP voters. For the rest of us non- VIPs however it’s still harassment and disenfranchisement as usual . Electoral democracy in New India! https://t.co/Z50hWUdE2J

The BJP is right to be upset. A smart leader like the PM knows that politicians should expect to be attacked. But when they become figures of fun and are regularly lampooned it becomes much more difficult to recover It’s taken Rahul Gandhi a decade to win back his stature & credibility Narendra Modi knows that jokes are the Opposition’s most powerful weapon https://t.co/gg3AaMQZDj

Hey @MumbaiPolice , on what grounds was the Stella Bossi gig shutdown at Antisocial yesterday? This is an indoor gig. The venue has all the licenses. There are no sound complaints and the gig was scheduled to end at 9:30pm According to the DJ, cops shut it down because techno music "attracts bad things" By that logic will you shut down religious processions that attract all sorts of criminal elements? Not sure what organizations like @NRAI_India are doing when their members are being harassed like this Cops in India behave like they are above the law and in this case they are behaving like the Taliban religious police...

What is vir sanghvi's engagement rate on X?
vir sanghvi (@virsanghvi) has an engagement rate of 0.015%, based on the median interactions across 35 original posts from the last 30 days against 3,956,420 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.015%, vir sanghvi sits above the 10th percentile of the 212,078 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @virsanghvi have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 40% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @virsanghvi post?
Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 8.5 posts per day across the measured window.
