Randeep Singh Surjewala engagement report
@rssurjewala - 1.8M followers on X
Measured over 93 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 27, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 229 interactions against 1.8M followers, an engagement rate of 0.013%. Measured over 93 original posts, its engagement rate beats 37% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 5.6K times each, and 4.06% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.318% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 5.7 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on almost every day in the window. Most posts go out around 03:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 93 posts sampled, 87% carry an image or video and 11% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 84K interactions, about 367x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #asiangames2026, #dasara2026, #ayudhapooje.

Compared with accounts its own size
Randeep Singh Surjewala's engagement rate beats 37% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 85% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.013%, Randeep Singh Surjewala sits above the 10th percentile of the 211,892 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.025%.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 87% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 11% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 87% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 11% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 834 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

I’d like to thank every single person who came out today for this protest. I'd also like to thank the millions of people who showed support in their own way at 3pm. Thank you to the leaders of INDIA bloc, all the workers of the Congress party and workers of the INDIA bloc. Today was a very important day because we needed to show the government that the people of India are not going to be intimidated. You cannot beat us, threaten us, frighten us. We will not accept being bullied. I was wondering where the cowards of the RSS who were beating the young children day before yesterday were. Where were those people? Because I didn’t see them. When we are standing there and when the people of India are standing there, why don’t you come out? Why don’t you wear your little scarves and come out and see what happens? Because you’re essentially, like the Prime Minister of India, bullies. You cannot stand up. You can only use power to fight. So, it’s very heartening to see what happened. I’m proud of everybody. Everybody worked like a team. As I said in my press conference, there are no parallel protests. It’s one protest, and it’s a protest where everybody is standing together. Every single person is going to stand against these killers of our Constitution, these killers of our democracy. And we’re not going to back down. I’d also like to thank everybody from civil society organisations who came, supported us. We value your support, and we love all of you. Thank you all for coming out and defending the idea of India, the idea of the Constitution, the idea of our democracy. I’m extremely proud of every single person who came out on the streets. Thank you.

Enough CLEAN CHITS to China. PM Modi must COME CLEAN before India! Three questions demand answers: 1. NATIONAL SECURITY The ITBP DG's confirmation of continuing PLA face-offs in Arunachal Pradesh is deeply alarming. After Doklam and Galwan, is another serious confrontation unfolding? Reports of Chinese incursions near Taksing emerged in August. Yet, even 47 days after Corps Commander-level talks at Wacha–Damai, reportedly just 180 km away, confrontations continue. Has India's patrolling access been compromised? Arunachal Pradesh is an inseparable part of India. Why is the nation being kept in the dark? 2. ECONOMIC SECURITY Since Galwan sacrifice of 20 Indian Army bravehearts, (FY2020–21), Chinese imports have surged 102%, while India's trade deficit with China has ballooned 155% to $112.16 billion. Even Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman admits China obstructs Indian exports. Yet, the Government is easing Chinese investment restrictions and considering PLI benefits for eligible China-linked ventures. Has Make in India become Import from China? 3. DIPLOMATIC ACCOUNTABILITY At least 23 reported Modi–Xi meetings and interactions, 25 Special Representatives' rounds involving NSA Ajit Doval, 36 WMCC meetings, and successive SCO and BRICS Summits. What tangible results have these engagements delivered? Have India's pre-May 2020 patrolling rights been fully restored? Our Armed Forces have our complete confidence. But National security demands accountability, not diplomatic photo opportunities & Hugplomacy! Instead of attacking the Opposition, PM Modi must take Parliament and the Nation into confidence. https://t.co/WxHQ2ZtKV4

https://t.co/FZIl5o17hi

Reading these numbers
A typical post picks up 229 interactions against 1.8M followers, an engagement rate of 0.013%. Measured over 93 original posts, its engagement rate beats 37% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 5.6K times each, and 4.06% of those impressions turn into an interaction. - What is Randeep Singh Surjewala's engagement rate on X?
- Randeep Singh Surjewala (@rssurjewala) has an engagement rate of 0.013%, based on the median interactions across 93 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,772,406 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.013%, Randeep Singh Surjewala sits above the 10th percentile of the 211,892 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @rssurjewala have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 37% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @rssurjewala post?
- Most posts go out around 03:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 5.7 posts per day across the measured window.
