A typical post picks up 357 interactions against 2.7M followers, an engagement rate of 0.013%. Measured over 103 original posts, its engagement rate beats 37% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 31K times each, and 1.16% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.13% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 3.9 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on almost every day in the window. Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 103 posts sampled, 83% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 11K interactions, about 30x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Reno Omokri's engagement rate beats 37% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 51% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.013%, Reno Omokri sits above the 10th percentile of the 211,975 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.025%.

Fellow Nigerians, When we began this journey of reform in 2023, I promised that the difficult decisions we were making would serve the purpose of building an economy that works better for you and a country that is stronger for our children. Today, your government presents The Reforms Scorecard. It sets out what our reforms have achieved, what they have cost us, and the greater costs and harms we have prevented by acting when we did. I have therefore directed the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele @taiwoyedele, to give an account to Nigerians, to explain the numbers, the choices we have made, the progress recorded, and the work that remains. You deserve to see the numbers. You deserve to know what has changed and what these reforms mean for you, your family, your business and our country. This is your government. This is your country. This is our account to you. Watch The Reforms Scorecard livestream here: https://t.co/q4Bun9o0sr

Twelve Challenges That Disappeared From Nigeria Under Tinubu ASUU Strike Non-payment of salaries Half salary (Hafusa) Fuel scarcity Crude oil theft Niger-Delta militancy Ogoni agitation Economic recession Dollar and FX scarcity Executive/Legislative face-off Budget padding Boko Haram attacks on Abuja Southern Kaduna impunity Police station attacks and closures in the SE Nigeria under President Bola Tinubu is making steady progress in all spheres, but the opposition and their paid propagandists in the media will Arise to project only negative things to give you the impression that it is all doom and gloom. But Nigeria just enjoyed a 4.43% GDP growth, which is double the global average. We also have the most profitable stock market on the planet, bar none, according to Bloomberg. The inflation rate, which was hovering at 30% on May 29, 2023, has halved, and our foreign reserves are now at an 18-year high of $54 billion. Nigeria's GDP has added $67 billion in just two years, and we have moved from being the top petrol importer in Africa in 2023 to the number one fuel exporter in West Africa in 2026. This has enabled us to overtake South Africa to become the second-largest manufacturing capacity in Africa, with Egypt only slightly ahead of us. As of the first half of 2026, Nigeria has experienced 23 consecutive quarters of uninterrupted GDP growth, and we are poised to have the strongest gains in the Naira since 2018, according to Bloomberg. As a result of these economic strides, the IMF listed Nigeria as the sixth-largest contributor to global GDP growth in 2025, a fact celebrated by Elon Musk, the world's richest man. Much still needs to be done, and it is being done. However, progress is evident, whether it is 1 million university undergraduates enjoying the NELFUND Student Loans or the expansion of the Nigerian Army from eight to twelve Divisions. The additional 4 divisions will increase Nigerian Army personnel by 28,000 troops. The President also plans for Nigeria to recruit between 2,000 and 5,000 forest guards per state, depending on the state's landmass. Nigeria will not overcome her challenges overnight. But under President Tinubu, we are overwhelming our issues over time. Bemigho Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua.

The Age Factor: Why Peter Okoye Is Really Asking You To Vote For President Tinubu Earlier today, I watched a now-viral video by the Afrobeats singer Peter Okoye, in which the artist, who styles himself as Mr P, said, inter alia, 'Let's leave these old guys, dem done try. Let's retire them' and vote for Peter Obi. I find that statement surprising because it reveals that Mr Okoye lacks depth in the fundamentals of mathematics. Peter Obi is 65, while his running mate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is 70 this year. Kwankwaso's 70th birthday is in three days. Together, they have a combined age of 67.5 years. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is 74 this year, while Vice President Kashim Shettima is 60. That gives you a combined age of only 67 years. So, going by Peter Okoye's logic, if we are to use only age as a factor in voting, with the premise that we are to vote for the younger and fresher of the two tickets (because it is a joint ticket), then the natural thing for Nigerians, including Peter Okoye, to do is to vote for the incumbent Tinubu/Shettima ticket! If we consider only age, then among the three major Presidential tickets, the youngest is the incumbent ticket, since the Atiku (79) Amaechi (61) ticket has a combined age of 70 years. But even beyond age, there are still other reasons to vote for the President over Peter Obi. Peter and Paul Okoye started their musical careers in Jos, Plateau State, and then later in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. But only when they moved to Lagos did they become megastars. They eventually settled in Lagos and continue to thrive there. Why did they thrive in Lagos? Because then-Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu built up Lagos and tripled its Gross Domestic Product during his tenure. For example, while Peter Obi did not build a single nursery, primary, secondary, or university, Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu built multiple, including: The Abibatu Mogaji Millennium Secondary School, Agege. The Bola Ige Millennium Secondary School, Ajeromi. The Babs Fafunwa Millennium Secondary School, Ojodu. The Millennium Senior Secondary School, Egbeda. But if Peter Okoye can name even one school initiated, started, completed, and commissioned by Peter Obi, with government funds while he was Anambra Governor, I, Reno Omokri, will heed his call to vote the Obi/Kwankwaso ticket. And it was not just schools. Governor Tinubu built Independent Power Projects, including: Alausa Independent Power Plant (10.4 MW) Akute Independent Power Plant (12.55Mw) Lagos Island 1&2 Independent Power Plant (10Mw) Mainland Independent Power Plant (8.8Mw) Lekki Peninsula Integrated Power Project (6Mw) Island IPP located in Marina (10MW) All these and other projects were built by the Bola Tinubu Lagos State Government, in partnership with the private sector, although some were completed by his predecessors, and they have resulted in Lagos's economy being 15 times larger today than it was in 1991, when it stopped being Nigeria's capital. If Mr Peter Okoye can show me, or any other Nigerian, even one power project started, completed, and commissioned by Peter Obi with government funds while he was Anambra Governor, I, Reno Omokri, will heed his call to vote the Obi/Kwankwaso ticket. The question Nigerians should ask Peter Okoye is: if Peter Obi's record in office was so exemplary that it merits his votes and the endorsement of Nigerians, then why are Peter Obi and Peter Okoye, along with their families, living in the Lagos that President Bola Tinubu and his predecessors built, rather than living in Anambra that Peter Obi turned into heaven? If you are basing it purely on age and records, then I urge Peter Okoye to vote for the Tinubu/Shettima ticket, because since this government came into being, young Nigerians have never experienced even one day of an ASUU nationwide strike. Not only are lecturers well paid but a million university undergraduates are also enjoying the NELFUND Student Loans. Bemigho Reno Omokri

Reading these numbers

What is Reno Omokri's engagement rate on X?
Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) has an engagement rate of 0.013%, based on the median interactions across 103 original posts from the last 30 days against 2,717,421 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.013%, Reno Omokri sits above the 10th percentile of the 211,975 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @renoomokri have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 37% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @renoomokri post?
Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 3.87 posts per day across the measured window.
