الآن بدأت أفهم من أين جاءت المقولة العربية الشهيرة: «داروين يقول إن أصل الإنسان قرد»! يبدو أن المشكلة لم تكن دائمًا في داروين، بل في الطريق الطويل الذي قطعه داروين حتى وصل مترجمًا إلى القارئ العربي. فبعد اطلاعي على بعض الترجمات العربية، وجدت أن هناك خلطًا في نقل مصطلحات أساسية مثل Primates (الرئيسيات) وApes (القردة العليا/عديمة الذيل) وMonkeys (القرود)، ثم يأتي الإنسان وسط هذه الفوضى الاصطلاحية، فتخرج لنا في النهاية نظرية عربية جديدة لم يقل بها داروين أصلًا: «كان هناك قرد، ثم أصبح إنسانًا»! والفرق ليس ترفًا لغويًا. القول إن الإنسان والقردة العليا الحديثة تنحدر من أسلاف مشتركة شيء، والقول إن الإنسان انحدر من القرد الموجود اليوم شيء آخر تمامًا. الأول جزء من علم الأحياء التطوري، والثاني صورة كاريكاتورية عنه. لذلك بدأت بالفعل ألتمس العذر لمن لم يقرأ إلا بعض الترجمات العربية القديمة أو غير الدقيقة؛ فمن الصعب أن نطالب القارئ بفهم نظرية بصورة صحيحة إذا كانت المصطلحات التي وصلته قد اختلطت قبل أن يفتح الكتاب أصلًا. وربما قبل أن نسأل: «هل أخطأ داروين؟» علينا أحيانًا أن نسأل سؤالًا أبسط: هل ترجمنا داروين أصلًا كما كتب؟

فن العلاقة = ضبط المسافة. حين شاهدتُ العمل للفنانة المعاصرة"نيكولا إيما" تبادر إلى ذهني فلسفة شوبنهار عن مفهوم العلاقات وضرورتها والتي لخصها بمثال شوكي فذّ؛ يُشبه شوبنهار المسافات في العلاقة بين البشر بمثل القنافذ حاملة الأشواك؛ حين تشعر بالبرد تضطر للإقتراب و اللإلتصاق طلباً للدفء، لكن حين تقترب جداً يغرز بعضها أشواكه في الآخر وتتأذى، فتضطر للإبتعاد، وحين تفعل ذلك تشعر بالبرد فتضطر للعودة مجدداً والإجتماع، لذا -ولضرورة البقاء- لاتجدّ بُداً من أن تجتمع، لكنها تتعلم ترك مسافة قصيرة حتى لايجرح شوك أحدها الآخر دون عمد ويحدث الأذى. * هذا العمل له سياق مختلف لا يمنع الاسترشاد به، فهو جزء من سلسلة صنعتها الفنانة للتعبير عن العلاقات بين النساء، وكيف ترسخت مقولة أكبر عدو للمرأة هي المرأة، وهو واقع كما ترى الفنانة لكن تمّ ترسيخه عبر سلطان الجنس الآخر وأبوته كما ترى، وتضرب مثلاً بسندريلا وعداوة أخواتها لها وكيف يفعل الأدب ذلك دوماً.

كنتُ ولازلت عند رأيي بأن عدم شيوع لعبة كرة القدم في الولايات المتحدة يصب في مصلحة اللعبة ومتعتها، حتى بعد التنظيم الرائع لبطولة كأس العالم، مجتمع السوق الأمريكي يُشكل الذروة في توحش الرأسمالية داخل الغرب، ولديه انحراف حاد تجاه رأسملة كل شيء في الحياة، واستغلال سياسي لكل ورقة ضغط يمكن استغلالها تجاه أي طرف، فليس لديهم منطقة حياد حتى في الألعاب، وهيمنتهم على اللعبة يعني نهاية عصر وبداية عصر جديد، واعلم أن الهيمنة الأمريكية على كرة القدم ليست سهلة بسبب جذور اللعبة القوية وجماهيرها والاتحادات القارية المنتشرة، لكن قوة الاقتصاد الأمريكي والخبرة الهائلة في تحويل المنافسات الرياضية الى منتج ترفيهي متكامل: إعلانات، توقفات، تحليلات، بيانات، مراهنات، تسويق..الخ قد تمنحها حضوراً لايمكن منافسته، وهذا الحضور والتأثير سيصادر العفوية والتقاليد العريقة للعبة، كرة القدم منذ نشأتها ارتبطت بالناس بالمدينة او البلدة التي يمثلها النادي بشعارها المرتبط برمزية تاريخية وشعبيه وانطلق اللاعبين من الشوارع والأرصفة بالقرب من الناس ومعهم، وهذه الرأسملة قد بدأت بالفعل وتحولت فيفا إلى منظمة مالية تضم واحدة من أكبر مجتمعات الفساد المالي، لكن دخول النموذج الأمريكي سيذهب به بعيداً رغم ما قد يضيفه من ابعاد ترفيهية كآثار جانبية ايجابية لاتقارن بمقدار الضرر المتوقع.

من محاولة الاحتواء إلى الإقصاء العنيف، بين هاذين المرحلتين تدور حياة الانسان، في بواكير العمر يكون منفتحاً على احتواء كل شيء الأشخاص التجارب اللحظات الصعبة ربما لدوافع كثيرة منها الشعور بوفرة الوقت وامتداد العمر واكتساب التجارب وفيض التوقعات المتفائل، لكن مع تقدم العمر يضيق هذا الهامش ويكون للوقت ثمن اغلى لايمكن تعويضه او المساومة عليه وتكون لحظوظ النفس -سلامتها على الأقل- الأولية دون المساس بحظوظ الآخرين، وهنا تبدأ مرحلة الإقصاء لكل شخص أو تجربة يسلب منه هذا السلام أو يهدد حضوره، محاولة أخيرة من هذا الانسان الضعيف لمقاومة الزمان الذي يغرس انيابه في لحم المرء وبين انفاسه.
