Sayın Cumhurbaşkanımızı yakından tanımadan, onunla yakın çalışmadan ne kadar çalışkan, yorulmaz bir insan olduğunu tam olarak anlamak gerçekten kolay değildir. Bunu bir anım ile anlatmak istiyorum. Kabinede olduğumuz dönemde Sayın Cumhurbaşkanımızla yoğun bir yurtdışı programındaydık. Kafile olarak Türkiye’ye döndüğümüzde saat hayli ilerlemişti. Eve ancak gece 03.30 - 04:00 civarında ulaşabildim. Bir, iki saatlik uykunun ardından, sabah kendimizi de zorlayarak yeniden işimizin başına, makama döndük. Saat sabah 8 bile olmamıştı, televizyonu açtım ve ekranda Sayın Cumhurbaşkanımızı gördüm. Havalimanında, yeni bir yurt dışı programı için uçağa binmeden önce gazetecilere röportaj veriyordu. İşte o anı hiç unutamam. Biz 1-2 saatlik uykuyla kendimizi yeniden işe motive etmeye çalışırken, bizden yaşça büyük olan Cumhurbaşkanımız çoktan yeni bir programa, yeni bir hizmet yolculuğuna hazırlanıyordu. Bu sadece çalışkanlık değil. Bu, hayal edilemeyecek bir memleket sevgisi, hizmet aşkı ve millete karşı duyulan büyük bir sorumluluk. Ümmet-i Muhammed’e karşı hissedilen tarifsiz bir dava şuuru… Ne zaman yorulduğumuzu düşünsek onun bu değişmez temposunu hatırlarız. “Daha yapacak çok işimiz var.” deriz. Bize bu davanın bir neferi olmayı, Sayın Cumhurbaşkanımızla aynı yolda yürümeyi ve bu büyük hizmet yolculuğunun bir ucundan tutmayı nasip eden Rabbime hamdolsun. AK Parti’mizin 25. yılı kutlu olsun.
