" إنتوا جايبني تبهدلوني"... ده اللي قالته سيدة الشاشة الفنانة فاتن حمامة لما قابلت عميد الأدب العربي طه حسين..اللقاء ده فضل محفور في ذاكرتها طول عمرها. الحكاية بدأت لما اترشحت فاتن حمامة لبطولة فيلم "دعاء الكروان"، اللي متاخد عن رواية ل طة حسين وقتها كانت فاتن نجمة كبيرة طبعًا، لكن مقابلة عميد الأدب العربي نفسه كانت حدث كبير جدا عندها وله رهبته اتقابلوا فعلًا، وبدل ما يشجعها، فاجأها بسؤال فيه سخرية واستهزاء وقالها: "هو إنتي فاكرة نفسك هتقدري تفهمي دور آمنة؟". الحقيقة إن الكلمتين دول نزلوا عليها زي التلج، وخرجت من عنده وهي بتعيط وحاسة إن كرامتها ضاعت لدرجة إنها راحت للمنتج وقالتله: "انتوا جايبني عشان تبهدلوني؟" الموقف ده أثر فيها جدا وخلاها تحس بتحدي كبير، ودخلت التصوير وهي شايلة هم الدور وعملت الدور بكل امكانياتها عشان تثبت لنفسها قبل أي حد إنها قد المسؤولية. ولما الفيلم خلص، اتعمل عرض خاص حضره طه حسين بنفسه ومعاه أسرته. طول مدة العرض وفاتن قلقانة ومتوترة ومستنية رد فعله ، وأول ما الفيلم خلص ، طه حسين قالها جملة كانت بالنسبالها أهم من كل الجوايز اللي خدتها في حياتها. قالها: "اسمعي يا فاتن، خيالي وأنا بكتب شخصية آمنة في الرواية، هو بالظبط اللي إنتي عملتيه على الشاشة". في اللحظة دي، فاتن حست إنها أسعد واحدة في الدنيا، بعد ما كانت خارجة من عنده بتبكي ومنهارة، وخرجت في اليوم ده وهي طايرة من الفرحة، وشهادة من عميد الأدب العربي نفسه بقت وسام على صدرها وتأكيداً لموهبتها العظيمة. العرض الاول للفيلم كان في 8 أكتوبر 1958 وصنف الفيلم من قائمة احسن 100 فيلم 🎥 دعاء الكروان بطولة أحمد مظهر وفاتن حمامة واخراج هنري بركات - منقول
