Hanan Ashrawi engagement report
@DrHananAshrawi - 228K followers on X
Measured over 10 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 1, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 942 interactions against 228K followers, an engagement rate of 0.413%. Measured over 10 original posts, its engagement rate beats 83% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 28K times each, and 3.31% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 12.5% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.9 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 60% of days. Most posts go out around 12:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 10 posts sampled, 40% carry an image or video and 70% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 67K interactions, about 72x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Hanan Ashrawi's engagement rate beats 83% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 77% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.413%, Hanan Ashrawi sits above the 50th percentile of the 213,004 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.147% to 0.698%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 12:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 40% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 70% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 40% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 70% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
- Its average post runs 492 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

"¿Que clase de gente son los soldados israelíes que permiten que un niño de 14 años se desangre delante de ellos durante 40 o 45 minutos de agonía? ¿Que clase de personas son sus mandos militares que fomentan que se desangren niños?". Chris Sidoti, de la Comisión de Investigación de la ONU, denuncia el sadismo de los soldados sionistas, que dejaron que un niño palestino de 14 años se desangrara hasta la muerte mientras lo observaban.

The latest thing being called "blood libel" is a film where Israeli soldiers testify first hand about the war crimes they were involved in. Hard to imagine an emptier term now.

Watch: Yuli Novak, B’Tselem’s Executive Director, speaking at the launch of our new report, The Elimination Project, and calling on the international community to act: “How much more evidence do you need before you act? Statements do not protect anyone until they become action. Every day without meaningful action gives Israel more time to deepen this project and make it harder to reverse.” The Elimination Project shows how Israel is systematically using interconnected mechanisms: violence, displacement, restrictions on movement, economic strangulation and political repression to dismantle the conditions that allow Palestinians to exist as a collective in the West Bank, while expanding and entrenching Israeli control and Jewish supremacy. The international community must stop treating these isolated violations and end the impunity that allows this system to continue. Read the full report >> https://t.co/aWjyA06fAp

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz: "There is no real solution for Gaza without migration. We are fully prepared to move them out-by sea, by air, by every way possible. The moment will come when Hamas doesn't meet its commitment-then we will get a green light to move forward militarily, territorially, and this thing will gain momentum." The Israeli government is openly admitting to ethnic cleansing-and preparing the excuse to make it happen. False flag. Green light. Expulsion. Katz is telling you exactly what they're going to do. Renowned Palestinian artist Sliman Mansour passed away today. He was older than the state that occupies his homeland. “Children of Palestine” is from 1990. Decades later, the image still captures the injustice of Israeli occupation. https://t.co/jCOfoNLpmj

Israel is systematically killing, torturing, imprisoning and displacing Palestinians in the West Bank on a vast scale. This is a coordinated assault by the military, police, intelligence services, prison authorities and settler militias, all backed by Israel's legal system. In the past three years, Israel has killed more than 1,100 Palestinians in the West Bank, 240 of them children or teens, and at least 32 Palestinians from the West Bank have died in Israeli detention facilities. The military has repeatedly raided cities, villages and refugee camps, shooting and killing people, destroying homes and infrastructure and carrying out mass arrests. Meanwhile, thousands of settlers have been drafted into military units, authorized to carry weapons and granted official powers, while the state gives them free rein and military backing. Since October 2023, settlers have killed 35 Palestinians in the West Bank. In the first half of 2026 alone, more than 1,020 attacks against Palestinians were documented, averaging more than five a day. On the ground, the line between “settler” and “soldier” is increasingly disappearing. Israeli soldiers, settlers and police officers are almost never held accountable for harming Palestinians. They are protected by a system that shields them from accountability and grants them effective impunity – not as an oversight, but as part of the system. This violence affects more than the direct victims: it holds an entire society in a state of constant fear. Every day, 3.5 million Palestinians in the West Bank know that armed soldiers and settlers may enter their homes at any moment, while stepping outside is a calculated risk with checkpoints popping up unannounced and the threat of arbitrary violence is ever present. The fear is not an unexpected byproduct of the violence: it is a deliberate means of control. Intimidating an entire people is one arm of the Elimination Project: Israel's ongoing effort to dismantle the conditions that allow Palestinians to exist as a collective in the West Bank, while cementing Jewish supremacy and control over the land. Israel is intensifying its bombardment of Gaza, pressing ahead with its death & destruction obsession while the “Board of Peace” maintains its uselessness or collusion. In the West Bank, settler thugs & militias, protected by the army, also escalate their terror campaign against the vulnerable Palestinian population while the world continues its “observer” status.

Reading these numbers
- What is Hanan Ashrawi's engagement rate on X?
- Hanan Ashrawi (@DrHananAshrawi) has an engagement rate of 0.413%, based on the median interactions across 10 original posts from the last 30 days against 227,915 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.413%, Hanan Ashrawi sits above the 50th percentile of the 213,004 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @DrHananAshrawi have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 83% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @DrHananAshrawi post?
- Most posts go out around 12:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.9 posts per day across the measured window.
