DK Shivakumar engagement report
@DKShivakumar - 702K followers on X
Measured over 96 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 2, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 354 interactions against 702K followers, an engagement rate of 0.051%. Measured over 96 original posts, its engagement rate beats 59% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 10K times each, and 3.42% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.48% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 3.8 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 40% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 96 posts sampled, 94% carry an image or video, 9% are part of a thread and 5% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 7.7K interactions, about 22x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #100days, #sir, #votechori.

Compared with accounts its own size
DK Shivakumar's engagement rate beats 59% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 81% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.051%, DK Shivakumar sits above the 25th percentile of the 212,146 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.025% to 0.146%.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 94% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 5% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 94% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 5% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 641 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

As the Chief Minister of Karnataka, it is my bounden duty to protect the right of every eligible voter and ensure that the SIR process is free, fair, transparent and legally compliant. I have written to the Chief Electoral Officer seeking an immediate and thorough investigation into the large-scale filing of Form 7 objections, including: • 6,259 applications in Mudigere, around 3,000 in Belagavi North, 2,285 in Bhalki, 1,373 in Babaleshwar and 1,200 in Narasimha Raj, with particularly large numbers reported during September 22, 23 and 24. • Reports that a substantial number of voters proposed for deletion belong to minority communities, SCs, STs and OBCs, along with cases where voter names and EPIC numbers were pre-printed on Form 7 applications, raising questions about the source and possible misuse of electoral data. • Individuals filing unusually large numbers of objections, the relationship between objectors and the voters concerned, Form 7 applications returned by BLOs, and allegations of political coordination or facilitation. I have also urged that the FIRs and available video evidence be examined, an FIR be registered without delay and appropriate criminal action initiated if wrongdoing is established. No eligible voter should be deprived of their right to remain on the electoral roll.

An FIR against LoP Shri @RahulGandhi Ji for speaking against an act of ‘purification’ following Shri Mallikarjun @kharge ji’s rally in Haldwani is deeply condemnable. The act of ‘purification’ itself raises serious concerns about untouchability and caste discrimination. The concerned government should immediately register an FIR against those responsible and take strict action. When a voice is raised against untouchability and caste discrimination, the answer cannot be to target the person who speaks up. It must be to question the discrimination and hold those responsible accountable. The Constitution guarantees every citizen equality, dignity and justice. These values cannot be protected by silencing those who stand up for them. I strongly condemn this FIR and stand firmly with Shri Rahul Gandhi avaru and Shri Mallikarjun Kharge avaru. Congress will continue to stand against every form of caste discrimination and fight to uphold the constitutional promise of equality, dignity and social justice.

Commemorating 4 years of Shri Rahul Gandhi’s historic Bharat Jodo Yatra and its enduring spirit of unity. Four years ago, Shri Rahul Gandhi set out on the Bharat Jodo Yatra with a powerful message of bringing India together. Covering 4,080 km across 12 states and two Union territories over 145 days, the Yatra became a remarkable journey of connecting with the people. When the Yatra passed through Karnataka, I had the privilege of walking alongside him and our Congress colleagues, meeting our people, listening to their struggles and sharing their hopes. It reaffirmed what the Congress has always stood for, being with the people, understanding their needs and turning their aspirations into action. Soon after, we brought Karnataka’s five Guarantees to life, putting people at the heart of our governance. Today, crores of Kannadigas across all sections of society are benefiting from them and moving forward with greater dignity, security and opportunity. The Bharat Jodo Yatra renewed our commitment to the people, and that commitment took shape in Karnataka as the Karnataka Model of inclusive governance, now inspiring several states across India to follow a similar path. The spirit of Bharat Jodo continues to guide us as we take this journey forward, building a stronger Karnataka and contributing to a more united, inclusive and progressive India. @INCIndia @RahulGandhi

The right to vote is the foundation of our democracy, and protecting every genuine vote is our bound duty. I appeal to all voters, BLAs, BLA 1s, BLA 2s and our leaders to stay alert and check whether Form 7 applications seeking deletion of votes have been submitted in your Assembly segment or booth. I have already sought the data from the police authorities, Deputy Commissioners and the State Election Officer. Please share any such information with me by 12 noon tomorrow so that necessary action can be taken. Let us ensure that every genuine voter remains on the electoral roll. #SIR

Every vote matters. Every voter matters. Today, along with my Cabinet colleagues and senior Congress leaders including Former CM Shri @siddaramaiah, KPCC President Shri @HariprasadBK2, DCM Shri @DrParameshwara I met the Chief Electoral Officer and submitted a detailed representation regarding the serious concerns over the alleged bulk filing of Form 7 applications seeking deletion of voters. We have brought to the notice of the Election Commission several cases where Form 7 applications appear to have been generated and distributed at the grassroots level, containing EPIC numbers and details of voters. There are also complaints from citizens who have found their names or voting rights affected, with FIRs registered in different districts. The Election Commission has assured us that action will be taken against anyone who knowingly makes false statements or declarations in Forms 6, 6A, 7 and 8. ERO-level action under Section 31 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, will follow an inquiry under Rule 20 of the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960. The Election Commission has also directed that Form 7 applications for deletion on the grounds of death must be supported by a death certificate, while applications citing duplicate entries must mention the second EPIC number in the BLO remarks. Whether the number is one, ten, 25,000 or 25 lakh, the investigation must take its own course. Where were these forms printed? How were they generated? Who distributed them? It is my bounden duty as Chief Minister to protect the votes of the citizens of Karnataka and to protect every section of our people. The FIRs already registered will be investigated by the police and the Government will not interfere in the process. The law will take its own course. I will stand firmly with every voter and protect their right to vote. #SIR | #VoteChori

- What is DK Shivakumar's engagement rate on X?
- DK Shivakumar (@DKShivakumar) has an engagement rate of 0.051%, based on the median interactions across 96 original posts from the last 30 days against 701,635 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.051%, DK Shivakumar sits above the 25th percentile of the 212,146 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @DKShivakumar have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 59% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @DKShivakumar post?
- Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 3.83 posts per day across the measured window.
