A typical post picks up 5 interactions against 1.1M followers, an engagement rate of 0.001%. Measured over 33 original posts, its engagement rate beats 7% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 4.7K times each, and 0.105% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.432% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.1 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 63% of days. Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 33 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video and 6% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 8.5K interactions, about 1699x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Noor Hisham Abdullah's engagement rate beats 7% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 7% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.001%, Noor Hisham Abdullah sits below the 10th percentile of the 212,078 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.025%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

As Malaysians worry and pray for Tun Mahathir’s health, three dedicated healthcare workers from IJN, one Malay, one Chinese and one Indian stand by his side. They are a powerful reflection of Malaysia’s diversity, united in caring for him. Thank you to our frontline workers. https://t.co/fsuOYkiVY3

Recently, we managed a child who presented with red currant jelly stools. The child had been treated for dysentery at other medical facilities without any imaging. The child was later referred to UCSI Hospital for further management. Abdominal radiography and ultrasound confirmed the diagnosis of intussusception. Three attempts at ultrasound-guided saline reduction were unsuccessful because the intussusceptum was very tight and congested. The child therefore underwent urgent surgery, during which the intussusception was successfully reduced. The bowel appeared congested but viable after being wrapped in warmed packs for 10 minutes. Bowel resection and stoma formation were avoided. Lessons learned 1. Red currant jelly stools are a late sign of intussusception and require urgent medical attention and prompt treatment. 2. Per rectal bleeding in a child should never be dismissed without further imaging or investigation. Delay in presentation can lead to gangrenous, non-viable bowel. 3. Good referral pathways are essential so that a child can be promptly referred and transferred to a centre with a paediatric surgeon. 4. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, prompt action is required. This relies on excellent teamwork among the radiologist, nursing team, OT team, and anaesthetist to avoid morbidity. We thank Professor Dr. Yik Yee Ian, Resident Paediatric Surgeon at UCSI Hospital, and his entire team for a job well done in saving this child’s life.

This morning at Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), we managed another complex case involving a 14-year-old patient diagnosed with renal hyperparathyroidism complicated by dilated cardiomyopathy, chronic kidney disease on regular haemodialysis, and severe bone disease. Although the procedure was technically demanding, preoperative ultrasound localisation in the operating room was helpful, and the procedure’s success depended on a cohesive team, particularly Consultant Anaesthetist Dr Rozaini binti Hassan and her registrar, Dr Azlin Ahmad Fekry. I was fortunate to be assisted by Dr Khairul Anuar bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Head of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery and together we achieved meticulous surgical precision. I would like to thank the entire OT team and Dr Marhisham Che Mood, Head of the Paediatric & Congenital Heart Centre, for managing the patient from the beginning.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ Our condolences to Tun Mahathir and his family. This is a great loss to the nation. Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali came to represent the ideal first lady, dignified, intelligent, graceful, and deeply supportive. For seven decades, she was Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s constant companion and steadfast pillar, not merely standing behind him but walking beside him through his long political journey. Through triumphs and trials, she offered loyalty, calm strength, and quiet counsel. At the same time, her own achievements as a medical doctor and advocate gave her a distinct public role, making her more than a supportive spouse. She was a beacon of partnership, resilience, and devotion, and an enduring symbol of motherhood to the nation. اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَها وَارْحَمْها وَعَافِها وَاعْفُ عَنْها وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَها وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَها.

What an incredible journey this has been! Our family trip to the UK was already shaping up to be the adventure of a lifetime, but nothing could have prepared us for the emotional high of seeing our son, Muhammad Khazin, stride across that graduation stage. Hearing his name called and watching him collect his First Class Honours degree in Economics and Finance from Manchester University filled us with overwhelming joy and pride. It was the ultimate validation of his dedication, perseverance and great blessings. And just when we thought our hearts couldn't burst with more joy, we learned that he has been appointed to join JP Morgan, starting his new role at this esteemed investment firm in a mere fortnight. We are beyond excited to see where this next chapter takes him.

This afternoon, I met up with Hajar Mat Noji, a PhD student in Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment at the University of Glasgow, at Toro’s Steakhouse in Manchester. I was interviewed for her thesis on, “Assessing cost-effectiveness and affordability of new expensive treatment options and impact on sustainability of health systems.” I shared the case study on Hepatitis C in Malaysia on how we made several critical policy decisions, from decentralising care from hospitals to community clinics, to driving the urgency of finding the “missing millions,” and maximizing the cost-saving impact of hepatitis C elimination programs aligned with the WHO’s 2030 target. Our overall progress speaks for itself. Working with the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) on point-of-care testing, and securing access to affordable therapeutics (STORM-C-1 trial) for hepatitis C, coupled with the groundbreaking EASE study where we reduced treatment duration from 12 weeks to 8 weeks and slashing costs by a third without compromising efficacy. Today, Malaysia is actively working to find the missing millions of undiagnosed Hepatitis C patients, aiming for elimination by 2030. With improved point-of-care diagnostics and therapeutic access, the country is on track to drastically reduce and eliminate Hepatitis C and its complications, including liver cancer, cirrhosis, and liver failure

It is with immense happiness that we offer our heartfelt congratulations to YM Tunku Dato Mohamed Alauddin Tunku Laxamana Naquiyuddin and YM Mej. (K) Tengku Datin A’liaa Muna Tengku Abdul Rahman on the safe and healthy arrival of their cherished baby daughter. This joyful occasion marks a truly wonderful milestone, and we are deeply honoured to share in their celebration. Our profound appreciation goes to the couple for entrusting UCSI Hospital with this deeply personal and meaningful moment. Being selected to care for both mother and newborn is a tremendous privilege, and we are truly grateful for their trust in our expertise and facilities. Tengku’s commitment to nurturing her baby during these precious early days is particularly inspiring, beautifully embodying the spirit of UCSI Hospital’s Baby Friendly journey. Her devotion is a touching reflection of the extraordinary bond between mother and child, and it is our honour to walk alongside families who choose this path for their little ones. As they begin this wonderful new chapter, we wish the family boundless health, joy, and blessings. May their baby girl be forever showered in love, guided by wisdom, and blessed with every happiness life has to offer. Congratulations once again to the entire family!

What is Noor Hisham Abdullah's engagement rate on X?
Noor Hisham Abdullah (@DGHisham) has an engagement rate of 0.001%, based on the median interactions across 33 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,098,000 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.001%, Noor Hisham Abdullah sits below the 10th percentile of the 212,078 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @DGHisham have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 7% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the bottom 10% for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @DGHisham post?
Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.13 posts per day across the measured window.
