A typical post picks up 24 interactions against 167K followers, an engagement rate of 0.014%. Measured over 58 original posts, its engagement rate beats 28% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 1.4K times each, and 1.73% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.812% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.9 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 30% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 58 posts sampled, 97% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 294 interactions, about 12x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #bangladesh, #longmarch, #longmarch31oct.

Compared with accounts its own size

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's engagement rate beats 28% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 58% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.014%, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami sits above the 10th percentile of the 212,482 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.025%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 2429 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

leader of the Opposition visits injured Jamaat leader Shamim Ahsan at hospital Leader of the Opposition in the Bangladesh Parliament and Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman MP visited Shamim Ahsan, former Assistant Secretary of the Barguna District branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, who is currently receiving treatment at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), commonly known as the Pongu Hospital, in the capital. On the evening of October 16, the leader of the opposition visited the hospital to inquire about the treatment of Shamim Ahsan, who was seriously injured in the attack, and spoke with his family members. He also spoke with the attending physician and advised on ensuring the necessary medical care. Later, he joined those present in praying to Almighty Allah seeking Shamim Ahsan’s full recovery. Speaking to journalists after leaving the hospital, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman MP said, “Individuals associated with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and leaders and activists of its affiliated organizations have harassed people in various ways. Previously, another person’s leg was also broken. There have been incidents of attacks on people’s homes, looting of shops and businesses, and extortion through intimidation. We have a list of these incidents.” He said, “Immediately after this incident, I called the Honorable Chief Whip of the ruling party and urged him to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice through a fair investigation. I hope the government will conduct a proper investigation into the incident and ensure justice. We do not want to see such incidents happen again. We do not want anyone to hurt another person, not even with flower petals. Politics should be conducted in the language of politics, not in the language of terrorism. Each of us has our own distinct political ideology and programs.” The Leader of the Opposition said, “We want a healthy and fair political environment. If anyone has any statement to make or complaint to raise on this matter, there is an opportunity to do so in the National Parliament. I urge everyone to practice politics in a healthy and constructive manner.”

What is Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's engagement rate on X?
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami (@BJI_Official) has an engagement rate of 0.014%, based on the median interactions across 58 original posts from the last 30 days against 167,159 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.014%, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami sits above the 10th percentile of the 212,482 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @BJI_Official have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 28% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @BJI_Official post?
Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.93 posts per day across the measured window.
