Anne Waiguru EGH, OGW engagement report
@AnneWaiguru - 1.1M followers on X
Measured over 13 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 28, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 197 interactions against 1.1M followers, an engagement rate of 0.018%. Measured over 13 original posts, its engagement rate beats 43% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 5.3K times each, and 3.69% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.498% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.47 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 40% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 13 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 5.4K interactions, about 27x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #kaziiongee, #mashujaaday, #mazingiraday.

Compared with accounts its own size
Anne Waiguru EGH, OGW's engagement rate beats 43% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 83% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.018%, Anne Waiguru EGH, OGW sits above the 10th percentile of the 212,349 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.025%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 13:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 100% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 0% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 100% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 384 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

The ethnic profiling remarks made by CS Aden Duale in response to the Ol Kalou by-election are deeply regrettable. It is both overly simplistic and dangerous to reduce the government’s political challenges to tribal prejudice, especially when this very Kikuyu community stood with us so overwhelmingly in the past. Cabinet Secretary @HonAdenDuale, given your stature and long experience in politics, such utterances are wholly unacceptable. An apology is not only necessary, it is owed to the people of Kenya. As we move toward the General Election, let us embrace responsibility and sobriety in our words and actions. Kenya belongs to all of us, Kikuyus included, and our unity must never be undermined by careless rhetoric. @WilliamsRuto

I have stood against ethnic-based politics when espoused by some leaders in Mt Kenya. In equal measure, I strongly stand against the Hassan Omar type of ethnic baiting that seeks to isolate the people of Mt Kenya. The Tutam movement, to which we remain fully committed, is a national movement that does not legitimize the spewing of ethnic hatred, however couched. As a nation, we have been there before and we said never again! That approach may excite crowds, but it is short-sighted, undemocratic, and can ultimately only be severely injurious to the nation. He owes our nation an apology.

Here's to taking a stand against ANY and ALL ethnic profiling, because it needs to stop. When the people of North Imenti elected Hon. Rahim Dawood Abdul, they looked at him and saw an able representative. They chose him. @rigathi Gachagua’s ethnic tirades, borne of a bloated ego, are now treading on dangerous ground. Every Kenyan has a right to live, work, marry, and lead anywhere within this country. Enough is enough. We need to provide the leadership Kenya needs, and it cannot be founded on ethnicity and sectarian division. @WeruTV

I strongly condemn the violent attack on gospel artist Rachel Wandeto for merely expressing her political preference. This is unacceptable in Kenya, a country that has repeatedly said “never again” to political violence. The continued and dangerous trend of violence, especially towards women who dare to hold alternative views, is unacceptable. Such conduct must be condemned by all, particularly those whose supporters may have carried out this vile act, unless it was done with their tacit support or blessing. On this issue, there can be no partisanship. I call on law enforcement to swiftly investigate, bring the culprits to book, and ensure justice is served. Pole sana Rachel. 🙏🏾 #JusticeForRachelWandeto #StopPoliticalViolence @NPSOfficial_KE @DCI_Kenya

A clarification to @StandardKenya: Your "Spending Spree" headline in today's newspaper is misleading. For the record, the Controller of Budget's May 2026 Report (Page 289) on Kirinyaga was clear that on domestic travel - KShs. 𝟰𝟰.𝟴𝟳𝗠 was incurred by the County EXECUTIVE & NOT 235.37M as presented in your headline. Please present figures factually!!

- What is Anne Waiguru EGH, OGW's engagement rate on X?
- Anne Waiguru EGH, OGW (@AnneWaiguru) has an engagement rate of 0.018%, based on the median interactions across 13 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,071,348 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.018%, Anne Waiguru EGH, OGW sits above the 10th percentile of the 212,349 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @AnneWaiguru have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 43% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @AnneWaiguru post?
- Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.47 posts per day across the measured window.
